Help young Congolese change their communities for the better by giving to The Congo Tree! Whatever the amount you can give, as a one-off donation or through more regular giving, you help us to inspire, equip and support young leaders in DRC… Thank you!

If you’re here to join a BEWYLD cohort then please select the  £8 monthly option or enter £100 as a one off donation for the year. Please write BEWYLD in the message section.

By doing so you will receive personalised communication from the cohort that you are supporting through the WYLD programme.

We’re so excited that you want to be a part of this journey – thank you!

We have WYLD programmes starting in Rutshuru, Masisi and hopefully Bweremana in the next three months. We need 12 people to sign up to support each of these programmes so that we can have a full cohort. If you know someone that may be interested in BEWYLD please spread the word and give someone the opportunity to #bepartofthestory.

Please contact us at if you would prefer to give directly to our bank account or in another way.

Donations as gifts

If you would like to donate as a gift for someone else and receive a personalised ‘Thank You’ card for your loved one, please email

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer then you can make your gift worth more; for every £1 you give The Congo Tree can reclaim 25p. Charity Checkout gives you the option to do this through them but if you give directly to us, please fill in the gift aid form, which you can download here and mail it to us at:

The Congo Tree, 84 Kimbolton Road, Bedford, MK40 2PD.

Giving from Canada

If you are giving from Canada and would like a tax receipt then you can give by making a cheque payable to ‘Voice for Change’ with ‘The Congo Tree’ on the memo line and send it to:

Voice For Change, PO Box 24009, Cherry Hill, London, ON, N6H 5C4

You can also help us raise funds in other ways…

Get sponsored: Into hiking, biking or skydiving? If you would like to take on a sponsored challenge on behalf of The Congo Tree, we would love to hear from you!

And if you have a particularly daring / interesting / creative idea, we might even join you… (anything to distract Heidi from planning her Birmingham-DRC ‘Long Way Down’ style motorbike adventure!)

Host us: We are happy to come to schools, youth groups, churches and faith groups, or businesses, to speak about DRC and why we do what we do, run training sessions and support you with fundraising activities.

Projects: We are looking for people to sponsor our social action and creative enterprise projects, which will vary in cost – please let us know if you would like to find out about financially supporting a community project or business idea.

Gifts in kind: We occasionally need resources such as stationary, training materials and computer equipment. Please contact us if you think you can help in this way.
